Game Awards : malgré 12 nominations, Xbox n’aura pas de GOTY en 2024

Dans la nuit du 12 au 13 décembre se tiendront les Game Awards, à l’issue desquelles de nombreux jeux se verront décerner des titres, dont le prestigieux “jeu de l’année”. En plus de cela, comme les années précédentes, nous aurons droit à des trailers et même des annonces de nouveaux jeux ! Rappelez-vous, c’est à cette occasion que la Xbox Series X avait été dévoilée en 2019, Perfect Dark annoncé en 2020, ou encore Marvel’s Blade et OD annoncés en 2023.

Xbox se démarque, mais n’aura pas de GOTY en 2024

Si l’année dernière Xbox avait clairement manqué à l’appel, la société est cette fois de retour en force avec tout de même 12 nominations, grâce à Call of Duty : Black Ops 6 (4), Diablo IV (2), Senua’s Saga : Hellblade II (4), Age of Mythology : Retold (1) et la série Fallout (1).

À titre de comparaison, PlayStation se trouve en première position avec 16 nominations, et Xbox sur le podium, à égalité avec Square Enix et ses 12 nominations. Les jeux les plus nommés sont ASTRO BOT (7) et Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
