Les développeurs de Dying Light ont implémenté un easter egg qui se moque un peu de Destiny. Il s’agit d’une grotte un peu secrète accessible par la nage et dans laquelle on peut récupérer de l’équipement après avoir dézingué du zombie.
« Your destiny is to build your legend (and get loot) », voilà le message qui s’affiche quand on arrive dans la grotte. Et une fois le boulot effectué, c’est le message suivant qui s’affiche : « Enough ! Patch 1.0.2 activated. Better do more quests »

BRUTAL, VISCERAL COMBAT :
Fight face to face using a diverse selection of melee weapons : knives, bats, axes, or more unusual tools of destruction. Strike down your enemies, cut off their limbs, save your own life !
FIREARMS :
Powerful but noisy. Use pistols, shotguns, and rifles to gain an advantage over enemies, but remember that gunfire can and will attract unwanted attention.
